Cardillac is established in 1988 and named after a character who was a goldsmith in a book “Das fraulein von scuderi” written by E. Hoffmann. Carla & Paul Steenbrink are the goldsmiths and the designers who made the collection with their own signature and an eye for details and befitting comfort.
The fluid form of the rings by Cardillac has become the brand’s signature design. In the engagement ring collection, the ring is formed around the diamond, looks like the ring is hugging and protecting the diamond, a subtle denotation of the relationship of the man and woman in love.
In the wedding band series, the fluid and intertwining form are unique and special, a denotation of “two become one”.
